Another man has come forward to claim he was sexually abused by former Gananoque church organist Brian Lucy 25 years ago.

Gananoque Police have laid two new charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation dating back to the early 1990s against the 68-year-old Lucy.

The new charges come after a preliminary hearing last month in which the court found enough evidence to commit Lucy to stand trial for incidents that were alleged to have occurred against another victim in the late 1970s and early 1980s. A trial date has yet to be yet.

Information on the new charges were brought forward at the preliminary hearing and Gananoque Police followed up with the formal charges this week.

This brings to four the number of victims who have claimed to have been abused by Lucy.

Lucy is now serving five years in prison after he pleaded guilty in October of 2015 to indecent assault and gross indecency against two youths between 1977 and 1983.

Lucy, a lifelong resident of Gananoque, is the son of the founder of the Gananoque Boat Lines, and he was the organist at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church on Stone Street from 1969 until 2013 when the first charges were laid against him.
