Ex priest and convicted molester Gabriel Del Bianco will be released from jail tomorrow (Thursday, 12 January 2017): He will return to his home in Kincardin.
On 14 May 2014 DelBianco – convicted for sexual abuse of two girls in the 1980s and early 1990s – was sentenced to four years in prison.
Only months later, in August 2014, we had word from Amber that DelBianco had been relocated to the Pittsburg Institution, a “a minimum security facility” on the grounds Joyceville, Ontario.
And, here we are. January 2017. DelBianco has ‘served’ 32 of a 48 month sentence – served as in three months in prison, and the remaining 29 months in what some dub “the Hilton Hotel” of the prison world.
Sadly, this is not at all unusual in this country. Most convicted offenders are out after serving two-thirds of their sentence.
And so, tomorrow DelBianco is heading home.
Please keep DelBianco’s victims in your prayers.
